Maori have been using Manuka to treat everything from rheumatism and fevers to burns and skin disorders for many hundreds of years.
It is still “world famous in New Zealand” as one of the best all round topical remedies. Manuka essential oil is extremely effective, while still being gentle on the skin.
Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial and extremely anti-inflammatory, hospital burn units worldwide now use Manuka to help regenerate and heal severely burned skin.
It is a safe, effective way to keep infections at bay without irritating damaged skin!
How to use
First Aid; After using suitable cleansing medium or saline solution, apply a small amount to affected area. Let skin absorb the wonderful healing properties of this product.
Acne and Fungal infections; Use 2 drops on a cotton tip and apply as a spot treatment to infections and blemishes.
Burns; After running cool water over the affected area, gently pat dry and apply a drop of oil to skin. Pat gently over the area.
Inhalation; Add 1-2 drops to water on top of an oil diffuser.
Alternatively, to treat sinus complaints, add 3 drops to a bowl of scalding water, cover the back of your head and shoulders with a towel and inhale the steam. Keep eyes closed while under steam.
Infections are cleared, skin is calm, and cells regenerated.
While Manuka is able to heal many ailments, it’s not to be used to replace medical treatment that may be required.
